Thank you, Matt, for the exquisite set of Windsor chairs! They are really of museum quality--it would take an expert to detect that they are not the real thing. They are so beautifully proportioned and convincingly distressed, and the detail in the woodworking is not to be believed. We've looked for years and have never seen reproductions that come close to these in authenticity. There's only one difference between these and real 18th century chairs: these are actually comfortable! Matt, you're a genius!

A chair from Matt Rushing is an heirloom. His furniture will be highly collectible . I see our chairs as the work of an artisan, each handmade in the tradition of a previous era. I love the black and terra cotta paint, the patina that I requested and their traditional look is just primitive enough to look handmade, but beautifully made. Another bonus is the Matt experience. His enthusiasm for his craft is refreshing . He is open and verbal and he will offer his opinion if you ask. He helped me decide on a table to go with the chairs . It was a huge decision for me and I appreciated his willingness to answer my questions.
